CAGED explores the feeling of being visible while remaining unreachable. The textured surface physically interrupts the image, turning confinement into part of the artwork rather than simply its subject. The figure appears held between exposure and protection, suggesting that the structures keeping us safe can also prevent us from being fully seen.
